It looks very interesting but it appears I need to make a small theme change to get the most out of it. I’ll have to do that at some later point.
This will be very useful for me to post articles that support my OU research. I do need to do that more for reflection purposes

Thanks for giving my little extension a try. I really hope you like it. If you’re interested in using the ‘links’ post format, rather than posts, you might want to have a quick look at http://iamfriendly.com/blog/wordpress-post-format-archives/ which will tell you how to set up a new template file.
I keep an archive on my site at http://iamfriendly.com/links/ (which is actually a redirect to http://iamfriendly.com/blog/type/link/ which is where WordPress puts the link post type format by default)

It looks really useful. I often want to blog about webpages when I’m doing my OU research and I used to use a delicious-related plug-in for that (postelicious?). It was clunky and it no-longer works with WP 3.1.
Anyway, going to give this a go. Thanks for the links 🙂
